  • Sure, run my favorite game series into the ground AND cancel the most ambitious indy project of all time. THANKS SQUENIX!

  • They prefer to release a sequel to FFXIII instead..................

  • NOO NO NO NOOO THEY FUCKED IT UP DUDE! I CANT BELIEVE THEY FUCKING CANCELED IT...oh wait... they canceled it a long time ago... AWW SHIT

  • the graphics can be improved greatly now a days, nonetheless, can't say that watching this trailer from a very old beloved game in my life it sure gives me hopes of seeing one day, full resurrected :megusta:

  • I don't know why people are so surprised that a bunch of wealthy uptight Japanese businessmen don't have any stake in fan creations that won't make them any money.

  • @StoneColdScorpio

true but its officialy classed as a sequel to it

an alright game but nothing like chrono trigger

  • @OhNoNotMyPenis ehhh, that game has nothing to do with the original chrono triggers game

  • @StoneColdScorpio

they did, chrono cross for the PS1

  • @OhNoNotMyPenis oh that sucks..they need to make a sequel

  • @StoneColdScorpio

this was a fan remake, tho square enix shut the project down waving legal action at the people doing it

  • I know this would be a lot to do considering a remake but... in Japan they don't have the same copyright rules as they do in America. You can legally remake it over there. I know a few people who produced a street fighter clone and also fatal fake. Traditionally, imitation is the greatest compliment right?

In addition, I'm not sure if you could get the rights to it to sell it. I think Akira Toriyama still retains the rights most of the key elements of the game and square-enix owns the rest.
