I got my source of information from wikipedia so I could be wrong but anyway I think its a case of who wrote their song first, not that it matters because either someone had to get permission use it

I know it... Wikipedia says... "The song has also been covered by Japanese pop-rock singer Anna Tsuchiya, who changed the lyrics to keep only the music from the original song." But that's imposible... Blue Moon was released in march 2006 and one in a million in 2007 so...

The original song is from the German singer Sandy Mölling (2004). In 2005, Anna Tsuchiya did a cover of it, she used only music and changed the lyrics. In 2007, Miley Cyrus (¬¬*) made the cover of the Sandy's original song. That's it. Obviously, the most I like is Anna's cover, it is much more beautiful, in my opinion, than the original.

@Aile122 Actually the original song is from a German girl, Anna kept the music while Miley covered the whole song, so I think that is what Wikipedia refers to.

In My opinion,Anna's version is much better than the original version of Sandy Molling,she re-arranged the text making a cover,Miley Cyrus just copy that song,changing only a few words...

@Aile122 one in a million is an old song that miley covered that came out before either anna's or miley's version however I like anna's version the most :)

@Aile122 I don't think the wikipedia refers to Miley Cyrus but to the original singer of the song (a German girl whose name I can't remember right now ::shame on me:: ). So they both covered the original song but, Anna, as it was previously said, kept only the music and changed the lyrics, while Miley covered the song almost exactly as it was originally sang (although there are a few changes, I think).

Anyway, I myself prefer Anna's version, but it's all about personal choices ^^
