Amma visits New York, USA 2007

Amma held three days of public programs at the Manhattan Center in Mid-Town Manhattan, New York City. .

Amma was welcomed by Commissioner Linares from the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs for the City of New York. He read aloud a proclamation from Mayor Michael Bloomberg: ".... from providing Tsunami relief to building homes for the poor to providing vital resources to widows and abused women to simply providing comfort to those who need it most you have made a difference for so many grateful men and women all across the globe. I join all New Yorkers in thanking you for your important work."
