Today's question was sent in by Mindie from lower Manhattan who asks "Why should you use a decanter and how do you choose a decanter?". Send us your question and we will do our best to answer them: http://www.tellmewinetv.com/send-us-your-questions/
How long should the decanted wine (young or old) sit in the decanter before serving? Some wineries say at least 1. Some sommeliers say 2...etc. Assuming you are taking the bottle from the fridge or temp controlled cellar (13C). I usually leave the wine in bottle till it reaches a serving temp of around 18C.
