8 hours each way? It takes me 2.5 hours to get to Aberdeen and 4 hours to get to Humberside. So whatever heli-port I go to, I can get there reasonable easy.
I had a colleage from Southampton who could fly to Aberdeen in an hour!
So it's all rubbish what your saying buddy.

So, let me give you an alternative. I get a job in a Glasgow shipyard instead. I need 2 nights late and a sauturday and sunday to make about £800 before tax. Where I live it'll take me an hour each way. In total including travelling I'm out of the house for 68 hours a week, which equates to about £11 an hour. Plus, I'm knackered every night, I cant afford time off and I never get a long lie.
Hold me back!
Naw, give me the 3 weeks off anytime.
