Steve Smith had one or two good seasons, and then dissapeared. He's really inconsistent.

Of a possible 136 games, Steve Smith has played in 114 as well as 4 Pro Bowls. He's only missed more than 2 games in one season.

The two receivers had nearly identical total yards receiving last year, except it took Fitzgerald 18 more catches, which makes sense since he can't create yardage like Smith can. Also, Smith plays with a much worse quarterback.

Fitzgerald did have 6 more touchdowns than Smith, but with Deangelo Williams and Jonathon Stewart, the panthers punch it in instead.

Yeah, it must suck knowing that he's a much better reciever than your precious (and fragile) Steve Smith.

I hope Fitzgerald isn't on the cover. I'd hate to see him get hit with the Madden Curse.
