Video updates of my Aquaponics system, I have build a new fish pond its over the ground pond and hopefully will start building the new setup over this 2 weeks or so.

I confident Aquaponics can provide food for the family therefor I decide to make a more permanent setup and stock more fishes and vegetable for the kitchen.

thus the amount of amonia or other waste produce by the fish is too much for the plants if i have only few plants on my growbeds? does it affects my aquaponic cycle? tnx for your reply

It will affect, especially if nitrite level goes up it could kill the fish. It will also depend on what fish you keep. Anyway the first 4 months the Aquaponics cycle may not be optimum for plants, just take it easy the first 4 months

gudday how many fish you will put to your new fishpond and how many grow beds that pond accomodate

Due to space constrain, I only have 4 growbed about  2' x 3' in size. The Tank can accomodate more growbed without problem. Fish inside my estimate about 150, just a rough estimate.

That filter is actually a prefilter, there is nothing inside just pipe arrangement to separate the solids from liquid and nothing to service or change.

I did not have any fish food getting the grow beds yet. Maybe because of the type of pump I use.

Nice tank you built!!! I've been watching videos from another Youtuber, who is having problems with fish food getting into the grow beds. What size filter are you using ie; 50 microns or bigger?
