  • In Australia the typical installation cost (separate from the cost of the system itself) is about 600-700 USD for a single indoor and outdoor unit. Sometimes a little less, sometimes a few hundred extra for things like a long pipe run.

  • Umm haha is the 23513892331597 reed deming's mom or dad? Lolz

  • K n J HVAC Service installed 3 units at my home. This company is reliable and very quick at there work, only took one full day and i had AC/Heat. Great Prices, they did not overcharge me at all, and assited in getting me my Tax Write Off for buying 20 SEER units. Albany, NY 518-573-7617 is there #, ask for Kevin P.

  • These units are great and if you buy a DC inverter unit they heat good down to about 4 degrees F. then they start to lose effectivness. The reason they cost so much to install stateside is that US AC installers are taking advantage of the fact that they are fairly new to the US market and rape people on the installation costs. Fact is that in Asia and Europe these are common and cheaper to install then traditional AC.

  • the units are pretty good idea esp without ducting. they dont tell you that they are very expensive to install. 3 units depending were and how long the length of the run from the outside unit to the room can cost up to $ 4,ooo to $6,000 to install. Double check your warranty. go see a working unit. I dont care for the dumpy looking room vent although there are units the fit into the ceiling for more added cost because of cutting out a hole to put the vent into.

  • @stacynmbr4

Hey stacyn. Are you saying I can heat the room when temps outside are below freezing? I am being told the Heating capability of the heatpump is not reliable when outside temp drops below freezing. Why would I be told otherwise?

Also, are they "library" quiet or is that only on the low setting? Thanks.

  • i had two of them install in my home by a company called apply-tek in laredo texas they work super quite and cooled much better than a central . their number is 956 722 50 37 i highly recomend that company.
