Barbour: No 'Conspiracy' Behind Obama Muslim Rumors

Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour says he doesn't believe there's a "vast right-wing conspiracy" to misrepresent President Barack Obama's past, but that there's simply little known about him. "This is a president that we know less about than any other president in history," says Barbour. "[But] I accept just totally at face value that he is a Christian. He said so throughout the time he has been in public life. That's good enough for me."

Haley Barbour was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi. He earned a law degree from the University of Mississippi Law School in 1973. He advised President Ronald Reagan as Director of the White House Office of Political Affairs, and served two terms as Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Prior to his election as governor, he headed Barbour Griffith and Rogers, one of the nation's top lobbying firms. In November 2003, Barbour was elected Mississippi's governor in the largest voter turnout in a gubernatorial election in state history.

We dont know about him? I have heard about this piece of shit argument over a year ago. He has written 2 fat books about his life incorporating hundreds of other people. Books that has been out years and are uncontested.

And of course there is no right wing effort to make him out as a muslim.... Just that Limbaugh and the rightwing noisemachine stresses barack HUSSEIN obama 10 decibels higher. Rush has put hours and hours into talking about Barack knowing the first lines of a muslim prayer.

@lumpfish99 "5....from the pentagon, arguably one of the most important defence sites in the usa" Exactly. It's top security so they're unlikely to release a shit-ton of photos. Just as if a plane hit MI5 in London most likely. They do have cameras pretty much everywhere but they're not going to grant an all-access pass because they're the highest level of security. Remember also the plane hit just one side of the building so of course it's not going to be caught on all the cameras.

There is footage from a security camera but it only took pictures every couple of seconds, so the instant it hit was missed. However the flight was tracked and real people died on that plane.

@lumpfish99 Haha are you serious?? Just search YouTube you'll find plenty of different angles of the same event - the plane hitting the second tower. There's also footage of the first plane hitting. It's really very simple to find this footage so why are you asking me?!
