It looks so easy. It took 20 Minutes for me to figure out what you do with your left hand ;-)
Thanks for this nice ACMP!

I really like this... I like how you explained the chord and fingering.
Although, I also wish you had explained/ or shown it a lot slower before the actual demonstration. Know what I mean? I knows its simple for you (you're a pro) =) but its a little complicated for us beginners to look at both hands and fully grasp it at "normal" speed. High five though! I will watch the vid over & over & practice until I get it. Thanks!!!!

What is the name of that folk song? It is very nice. :)

what are some more advanced patterns that pros use? I always feel like my patterns sound too basic

its c with pinky, g with thumb in left, right hand hits c, e, g, then middle finger hits e on the left then thumb on g and right hits c, e , g again or you could try some inverted c major chords

Johnny, this is really helpful, and I'm glad that you're willing to help share the magic of music with others. I've been playing piano for about 11 years but had a very difficult time with rhythm patterns to back myself up. Your technique is great to turn to.

I have a collection of around 200 different accompaniment patterns that any beginner can use. What really sounds good is when you apply these simple patterns to extended chords which are used in jazz. One of these days I'll put up some jazz lessons.
