this is all about religious control - the liturgy, the traditions, the false doctrines, the unbiblical hierarchies -- it all has to do with silencing the true church while at the same time retarding their spiritual growth... and make a killing all at the same time.

Everything no, EVERYTHING about the organized church is wrong! Building, pastor rule, pulpits, sermons, choirs, denominations, organizing, programs, pews, unbelievers in the pews, Christless fellowship etc....I'ts not 'church" it's General Motors.

I agree 100%. I once worked with a troop of street preachers who taught that the preaching in scripture was done in public. so the meeting of the saints is not the biblical place for proclaiming the Gospel but rather for the saints to build each other up in Christ. I don't say that people should not preach it's just that the church meeting is not the apropriate place. the church meeting has another funcion. so let's all encourage one another in our homes to late go out and preach. hallelya.

interesting, but...what do I do with this information? Do I stop going to church until I find a chuch that does it right? do I challenge my pastor/church to do it right? thanks

what about the Jewish worship pattern in the ancient time? The modern worship style is just shaped by Greek tradition?
Thanks!
what about the ancient Jewish worship pattern? Did it influence at all the modern worship style?

Yes, I believe synagogue liturgy did effect liturgical patterns. But scripture shows some differences between early Christian church practices and liturgy (e.g. use of gifts.)
