I never spent much time training Bocelli. I didn't think I would have the patience due to owning two Border Collies. I only taught him to sit and wait... like wait before you can eat or get out of the car and such; that's it. He's only known for being good at sleeping on all the agility equipment which I made a video of.

Well, he surprised me. The last few days I've been doing a little bit of Agility training with him and he's doing fantastic. He's fast for such a little tyke, but he'll do anything for food. FYI, he's not a little tyke for a Chinese Crested... he's 16 pounds.

My first Agility trial I ever watched I met Lis Kristof. I bonded with her due to the commonality of the love of Chinese Cresteds. I always looked forward seeing her as I continued to watch trials and then eventually compete. She told me that she loved Bocelli's Dreams of a future Agility Champion and made that one of her favorite videos. She has always wanted to meet him, but I never brought him because I thought he would get in the way.

In April at an Agility trial, I asked Lis how she was doing and was shocked that she told me that she had three weeks to live. My heart just sank and I did everything I could not to break into tears. I told her later that day after she won ADCH with Diva that I would bring Bocelli the next day so she could finally meet him.

Lis met Bocelli that day and loved on him. After the award celebration for Diva's ADCH, I told Lis that someday I would compete with Bocelli and do it in her memory. She said do it for the Chinese Cresteds.

So, all you USDAA Chinese Cresteds... watch out, Mr. Bochel is coming out!

Enjoy the video!
