  • at 3:34 what is the axe stuck in the log that you are sitting on?

  • @Delta8559272 , Wetterlings Large Hunter!

  • what about the bk2 please

  • @campinggear1 , Sorry about the wait, tell you what i'm going to do. I will get a brand new BK-2 and do a convexing video on it and then do a give away during the summer for it. I got a lot of video I have to push out before then, due to several companies sending me stuff, but it's on the list. If you want to give me a call sometime I can talk to you about some different options for it.

  • @gr8outdrsmn. Yeah, I have a corona 10” folding saw I picked up at Lowes. Cuts like butter

  • A folding (!) saw as the exemplar at 1:30 I have always with me when I am walking in the darkness...:)

  • @Equip2Endure Nice video! I looked long and hard for a saw a while back. Now, I carry the Corona 8-inch folding saw. I bought it at Lowe's for about $20 and it has worked very well thusfar. (even took a nice chunk out of my finger when i got sloppy one day haha). A great thing about it is that it is ergonomically shaped and has a nice non-slip rubberized grip area. coronatools (dot) com, folding saws, it's model RS-7255

  • @Equip2Endure do you mean your going to show to convex a bk2 because you dont need to do that just a test and again sorry for the bother great vids

  • @Equip2Endure thanks sorry for the bother great videos keep up the good work

  • Gerber sport saw for me! Blade slides inside handle for safe storage in my Camelbak.

  • Does anybody here have any personal testing of the ontario sp50 I've only seen a few vids on it and was wondering if anybody else has the knife looks like a good knife

  • I have the larger version of the svend saw. A negative is the triangle shape. It kind of limits the size of log you can cut.

  • @equip2endure I think Dave Canterbury shows how to make a bucksaw from paracord and a blade. Seems to me that building the skill level if you need that sort of thing is the best (and lightest). We've talked axes vs saws before, my kit is like yours: bahco folder for the light stuff, axe for the rest! Great video, love comparisons and you do them well.

  • @bigT5g I agree it's a lightweight and easy to assemble and disassemble saw. Also I like the storage of multiple blades in the shaft. My friend also had problems but of different nature with his. The rivets came apart. So he drilled a bigger hole and put a nut & bolt. Easy/cheap fix. Also he changed the plastic wing nut for a metal one. I will do the same with mine. I do like this tool. don't get me wrong but it's not as "perfect" as everyone claims it to be.
