@CAPTAINJPEDRO Yes, the confirmed cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. But I think there's a reson for that. He was an alcoholic and a drug user, and suffered a stroke leaving him permanently mentally disabled. After suffering from that for years I guess he decided to finish himself.

@dkupke Interesting. He certainly has that major foreign heel potential written all over him. As I recall at the 1993 Survivor Series match, he and Lex Luger were the last 2 guys in the ring against each other which hints at this would be feud.....

@billyspurr Supposedly the WWF had big plans for this character-ending Tatanka's win streak was just the start. He was planned to have a main event feud with Lex Luger and even a short run with the WWF title. But Halme injured his ankle and had to be off TV for several months, so the idea got buried.
