And I have heard of Dimebag Darrell, not a huge fan though. I'm on the punk side of the Grunge-spectrum, which is probably why you and I don't see eye to eye. Sorry about that.

  • @jedsebastian

1: I sound like I'm 12 years old? Fair enough, I don't even care to argue with you on that one.

2: Cantrell was a mediocre guitarist by *todays* standards. I respect Cantrell and enjoy his stylings. However, every other kid on the block with a guitar can play Alice in Chains songs.

3: Who's to say I "DON'T KNOW WHAT IM GOING TO SAY"? I'm replying, am I not?

  • @brunobb1 Hardly. Yes, It still has Jerry and Sean. Yes, they are part of the original line up. But still, I wouldn't call them Alice in Chains. They themselves weren't even going to, so why should their fans. Especially since they made it public and everything, how it wouldnt be right or fair to Layne for them to continue under that name, and did it anyways 3 years later? What a slap in the fucking face.

  • @AzhiaziamL it's still alice in chains

  • @brunobb1 Mike Sean and Jerry also said that they were absolutely not going to continue under the name Alice in Chains, or even at all. So, yes.

  • @Plozen PIOZEN; you sound like you are 12 years or maybe you are forcalling cantrell a mediocre guitarist, i didnt have to waste my time replying to you but IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO SAY THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP! Cantrell is admired by millions for his skills fans and musicians alike, even the late dimedag darrell(hope you;d know him) was a big Jerry cantrell fan. period

  • COBAIN WAS THE WORST ON GUITAR, LOL

  • @saviolap

Yes, he's mediocre. I didn't say I didn't like him or his style, or the rest of the band. I liked Kurt Cobain too, and it was a god-awful guitar player. It just always pisses me off seeing a band that thinks they can replace a lead singer. You can't emulate a lead singer. ACDC was the one and only exception to this and that was a freak accident. Hell, they did the same thing with Sublime, and that pissed me off just as much.

  • @Plozen you are a fucking retard. Get the fuck out of here and stop posting stupid comments. Jerry Cantrell is a great guitarist and songwriter.

  • I am a huge AIC fan then and now. As much as I dig Layne I would easily say Jerry Cantrell was a biggest part of the bands music. No dis on Layne at all, they were great together and made one bad ass band. I cant believe some dipshit would sit down and type the guitar player is mediocre. Jerry Cantrell is one of the top guitarists and has been for years. The best way to back that up is to play Check my Brain. It sounds like something off Dirt or SAP, not a band that lost its voice. AIC Rocks
