i got some question recently i just bought a slim version 160gb 2011 on oct ... 1mth later my ps3 give prob like hang out of sudden when i was playing battlefield 3, 3mths later which is feb 2012 hang again for second time when i was playing fifa2012, today which is 2march2012 hang for the third time when i was playing saint row the third..!!! The things is all this three tht i stated all without a orange small light tht use to keep blicking non stop

you got a bad one.. not all of them are like that..
ps3 fats don't do this... mine didn't start to overheat until 3 years of owning.. with everyday of gaming..

I can beat that...My 180G slim died last week of GPU failure after 5 months.
Got it replaced at the store with a FREE upgrade to the Silver 320G slim...Now 4 DAYS later the new one is starting to show greenish graphics after 30/40 mins of play!.
All i have done since getting it re-download Gotham Imposters and had one game on it!.

my ps3 slim 120g does the same thing and I just got it back from sont two weeks ago because it had the ylod and its pulling this. I don't want to send it in I'm just trying to find out how to fix it

what the hell i sometimes play cod mw3 from 12 in the morning to 6 in the morning and my ps3 is 320 gs 3 years old know nothing is wrong with it.

@apitzhnu90 it will probably need to be liquid cooled thats what they should have done with the ps3 those gpu and cpu chips get extremely hot its crazy so im sure with the ps4 more power more cooling needs liquid coolers and heatsinks work the best
