In an interview with Spin magazine in 1995 Madonna said that "You can show a person getting blown up but you cant say fuck.Its such hypocrisy.The fact that everyone counted how many fucks I said how small minded is that.The other thing that was ridiculous was that David Letterman knew I was going to do it. I talked to the producers of the show. Everybody was like, this will be really funny if you say 'fuck' a lot they'll just keep bleeping you.

I must say I was really surprised to see her smoking a cigar.I didnt think she smoked at all because shes such a health freak.Apparently she used to smoke cigarettes back in her younger days before she was famous.Her brand of choice was Marlboro.I dont know if thats true or not though.

everyone's going on about how shit and childish she's being but I think a lot of it was just retaliation; the way Dave introduced her was really dog and derogatory, so I don't blame her for getting nasty. either way they both had fun. some people take this shit too seriously. personally I'm more concerned with the fact that Americans don't censor blood, violence, gore, filth like racism, etc etc... yet they go to extreme lengths and emphasis to censor little four-letter words.
