I just got lectured by a clothes designer, for questioning a TF shoot..some of her jewlery and photos in a fancy restaurant, both would be put on their websites and the photographer would get "credit" or exposure if you want the fancy word for free work.
Then today, same designer is offering trade to shoot a lookbook, which will earn her money. But obviously the photographer doesn't deserve a paycheck from her.

Awesome - Brits have this problem too. This is SO true! Las Vegas Wedding Photographer. Las Vegas Wedding Photography. Vegas Wedding Photographer. FogartyFOTO

Then let the new kids and the point & click and iPhone camera users shoot your editorials.

This is why the business is dying, i wonder do publishers try this line at the printers, do they try it on with their restate agents.? or buying a car.? or the weekly shopping.? Oh I'm a publisher so i should have everything for free, Cos I'm a publisher. Credit where its due, if your dumb enough to give away your services then do you deserve to fleeced by the Shylocks.?

So bloody typical, it happend all over the world, but yet so many photographers still fall for the same BS.
