at first this was a genius idea. it was nearly revolutionary. but they havnt set up anything? there is no clear plan to set up a leading world trade center is there? there are how many 5-10 star hotels but what people can afford to stay in them? are rooms going to cost 5 grand a night? there are that many rich people in the world guys! but i guess you've found that out now........a lot of countries consist of the poor now adays anyways and the middle class are just working to be able to continue

i loved the idea and allure of dubai, the palm and world islands.......but, the problem, the wasted a load of money building epic structures, but i dont see where they put a lot of thought in what people where actually going to do there, and or how the world, not just the rich, was going interact with the city/country.......

Nice building, too bad its empty. Not sure if people are aware but the whole city of Dubai went bankrupt a few month ago. Dubai officials begged the media to keep the bankruptcy hush so investors wouldn't be scared off. Half the buildings there have stopped being built in mid floor, the other half are empty. While most cities build because of demand, Dubai thought that if they build it they will come. They didn't. And since the housing crash things went from bad to worse.
