Brushy Mountain NCHSA 5-22-11

This is the first 15 mins of my first ever Hare Scramble race which took place at Brushy Mountain Motorsports Park in Taylorsville, NC. I started off better than I expected but ran out of energy even faster. All in all it was alot of fun. I plan to do it again in Sept. Maybe another race sooner.

@ack1961 Ive been tryin to work on my endurance. My hands cramp something terrible everytime about 10 minutes in. been tryin to find a way to get around it. Thanks

@bwedmore Thanks man, Yeah I think I came out too strong. I wasn't ready for it physically as much as I thought I was. I actually met up with an old friend that I grew up riding with that I'm planning on riding with.

You done really well for your first race, You get tired from tighting up, next time try to relax and set small goals, The start, try to make the first lap without crashing, line selection, if you can find someone who has raced for a while and see if you can ride with them on the off weekends and the most important thing is to have fun.
