Adert...I agree that Chicago it is a little out of scale...but in Brazil we had something like 55.000 murders last year. It is so sad man! Peace!

Come to my neighborhood in chicago. You would see plenty. We have 400 murders last year. You must be in a rich suburb.

my moment of truth came when i recall Don Corleone talking w/ Michael..."Michael, if i only had time.... I could be a Senator..." and Then Mike respond : We'll get there Papi...
For you Americans... Can you imagine Michael Corleone as a Senator?? Owner of CBS news??? Washington Post??
and you think you have problems.

Crime in the States? Where?I am from São Paulo (Not San) and I live in the States for more then 5 years. I never saw anything here.

I am American, and let me just say this movie scared the shit out of me. I thought crime was bad here in the United States, but I guess it is just as bad down in places like Rio and San Paulo. It is literally everywhere.

does anyone know where I can buy the movie? I tried futureshop and bestbuy, but it wasn't there.

naughty.
The Brazilian people is great. The Brazilian authorities , polititians are the worst bunch there is. Corruption steals resources from the people , a part of the population resorts to crime, that is fed by corruption (that´s how you get the guns), crime goes (much of it) unpunished and the whole thing escalates. That´s how it is in Brazil nowadays.
And Manda Bala means Shoot'em up. (not the literal Send a Bullet- how? As a birthday present?).
