  • any reupload of the song? Since Megaupload went down

  • @jimob Fixed it!......Uhh, the reupload problem not Megaupload lol

  • @yukigirlydoll Well I can guess who one of the new dislikes are from but did you even listen to the Lyrics? Because I'm pretty sure that they are as accurate as you can get them translated and still be "SINGABLE"! Sure someone could do a 100% Translation to a song but odds are that translation wouldn't even be possible to fit with the Music afterwards. So Unless you yourself can find any lyrics that use the song, translate them well, and is still physically possible to sing, I beg to differ....

  • love the cameo of the super americanized version at the end. :P

  • @ovenstonejoey Ha, same. This opening used to be one of my favorite parts of the show. XP

  • @yukigirlydoll wha wha wha

i also prefer the japanese version, but its a bad idea to say on this video that the english version sucks, if you want thumbs ups, say that the english version sucks in the japanese version video.

  • @yukigirlydoll Actually, those were indeed the OFFICIAL English lyrics. Watch the English dub intro. It is what is played. No reason to bash someone for simply posting them; they can't change the fact that it's what the American lyrics are.

  • @yukigirlydoll A good translator must also adapt the words for a new culture, and also fit them nicely to music. It's not always about pure accuracy. And sometimes, emotional accuracy > linguistic accuracy.

  • @NadiaEveStudio haha...sounds real nice... I was born in 1994...In Switzerland... then we moved to Ecuador... I started watching Toonami and their programs every day... so I grew up with these songs and mangas.... they really mean much to me because I always watched it with my cousin who I don't see now :(... it really brought me back to the good old days... by the way: If you want to watch the whole thing again with English subs you can do it at animecrazy . net

  • @olivator1000 then thank god my mom's japanese or else I would've never known kenshin (because I was born in 1997 so I probably wouldn't have seen it on tv lol) I remeber my mom would get my uncle in Japan to send me video tapes of kenshin in Japanese and I would watch it even though I didn't know what they were saying XD

  • @yukigirlydoll All songs translated from one language to another being singable are called *adaptations*. If you want accurate lyrics, look up a translation. (And even so, Japanese is a language that has to be more interpreted rather than translated).

  • @Studios24U Lolz don't worry about what that person said, it's a pretty good job. And your voice is fairly nice. Heck of alot better than some I've seen that's for sure.

  • @ovenstonejoey now i'm 20 but i still think this is the coolest song ever ever ever hahaha
