Off The Cuff: Beat Kangz, DubTurbo and Sonic Producer Spam

This is an "off the cuff" rant (unedited) about my Sonic Producer, Beat Kangz and DubTurbo search engine spamming Google (and Bing). It all started off with finding the perfect music for my vlog series. But it ended me with me ranting about why it was so hard for me to find an unbiased review about DubTurbo. I noticed that Sonic Producer as well as Beat Kangz got search engine spam. There are literally a lot of sites with affiliate links and I'm just putting my thoughts out there to basically say "Buyer beware"

Note: Beat Kangz, while mentioned in the video, had the least amount of search engine spam. However, I put them in the same catagory because they got an affiliate program and thus I have to read "newsletter websites" (The proper marketing term is Squeeze Pages).

PREACH ON BROTHA!!! FL Studio and Reason are what I use, also Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Reaper, ect... get one of those. All I have to say about Dub Turbo... 16 track mixer... nuff said! Plus it looks like you cant load external vst's in it (not sure about that but) that is almost a necessity. Fuck Dub Turbo, I get sick when I see the videos of people promoting it. If you get a basic program you will at best make basic music, nothing spectacular.

i bought FL Studio a while back and it's hard as shit to use. I found Dubturbo like you did in the search engines read some reviews n bought it and honestly think it's actually really good - much easier to use than fl studio imo.

I've heard a lot of bad stuff about beat kangz though from friends who have used it. I'm no real musician but learning when I get time it's more just for fun for me.

You Know what? I was just about to buy Dub turbo then I saw this video and this guy is quite right I haven't seen any credible reviews. It's all spam. Grant there marketing is really good but it's all too much for me and doesn't quite hit home. PS I am A Cubase / FL Studio and soon to be a Pro tools user. So fuck Dub turbo.

ill give you a good review on it, although im sure you have used it by now, its good for ghetto beats, you cant dither when esporting.... so when you put it in wav form it sounds pretty bad, i dont like that the pitches in the KEY sections always change the length of the sound file like as in, if you do a higher pitch sound it goes by fast, lower pitch it elongates the sound, rather than them actually making seperate noises for each note on the piano. glitchy too. freezes, but it is 30 bucks...

fuck all those programs. you want legit software try Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, Reaper, or Ableton Live. don't try those bullshit knock offs like dub turbo beat thankang whatever that shit is called. get yourself a REAL DAW. it isn't made to be easy to become a producer you need to put time and dedication into it not like stupid dub turbo where it lays it out for you work for that shit
