MIRAGE 2000 ACCIDENT 2

Μετά από το ατύχημα το α/φος ανελκύστηκε και μεταφέρθηκε, δια θαλάσσης, από τη Σκύρο στο λιμάνι των "Τσιμέντων Χαλκίδος" και από εκεί οδικώς στην Τανάγρα, όπου και επισκευάστηκε.
Το α/φος συνεχίζει να πετά μέχρι σήμερα.

It was sea water, but anti-corrosion chemicals were applied imediately after hoisting from the sea.

The aircraft suffered minor damage, has been repaired and returned to duty.

The pilot however died.
