Great post. I played with this band for a short time while Eddie was recovering from surgery. Fine players all the way around.

I too saw Tombstone at the Bon Vue many times, a fantastic band with 2 great guitarists, one Mark DiC... and an album on Columbia with cocaine censored into Loraine.

Yes, he can. None of the others are slouches at their positions either. I love these guys. Obviously, we have worked well together. They got the concept of CTRI, on blind faith. All these years later, I still enjoy this.

Yes indeed Ken Lyon and The Tombstone Blues Band are still around...with a handful of original members in the line up! (Ken Lyon, Mark Taber, Brenda Mosher Bennett) I am currently singing with them, and we have a gig at Chan's on main Street Woonsocket, RI on November 18th, 2007. 7PM start / $10 at the door . COME ON DOWN!! :D

Creative Television of Rhode Island "CTRI - 25 in 2008....Get ready to Celebrate" Would you guys be interested in doing a live videotaped benefit for us, down here in Newport? I'd like anyone that CTRI has presented in the past to be involved over a year-long period.

Amazing. I remember them from the Bon Vue Inn in Narragansett during college days --- back in 1972/73 time frame. Are the band members still around?

This show is from May, 1990. I graduated from URI in 1982. I visited the Bon Vue a few times myself as an undergrad.... I don't remember who I saw. maybe Beaver Brown. I believe that each of these band members are still playing out in one form or another... and some have recorded CD's. These videos are part of CTRI R&D. We didn't know what we could accomplish... but we tried anyway...and these guys trusted us. We're about to do it again.
