I filmed at the 76-story Columbia Tower in Seattle, Washington. These are Otis elevators. I also filmed a few minutes at the 73rd floor. Elevator going up: Start of video until 2:18, Going down 8:24 till end.

  • me and my brother got lost in that building trying to get to the observation deck, then once we got to it, we had to go back down because we did not get tickets :/

  • Ouch! That's too bad, since the observation is all up to the 73rd floor, very high.

  • I'm glad that a lot of comments have been posted on this video so far! It's been rare for me to get a lot of video comments. I probably shouldn't have put so many minutes into this of filming the 'view'. But I'm glad for many comments. Most show up here.

  • Did you go to the 75th floor, and what was on floor 76?

  • We went to floor 73.

I looked on the internet for information on that and found that: 75 and 76th floors are occupied by the private Columbia tower club. But I haven't been there.

  • This looks like a fun elevator!

  • Beep............."Sky lobby, floor 40. To reach floors 37 through 55 please exit to the left. To reach floors 56 through 76 please exit to the right.............Going down".

I work in the Columbia Center, use the elevators several times per day. OMG, I hear this woman in my sleep! I wish CAC would shut her off, even just for one day!!!!!!! But, the sky lobby is confusing for people that don't know where to go.

  • Yep pretty cool place we were just there today. (that same elevator goes fast!)

  • This building was always one of my childhood inspirations, and remains my all-time favorite structure. If you have ever visited the observation deck of the Empire State Building, you know that for a similar view you pay up to $70 and wait up to 2 hours. When I visited New York for the first time, I couldn't help fondly thinking about how much nicer Seattle is as a Tourist destination in some respects. Nice video, btw!

  • It's funny how they make you take the office elevators to get to the observation deck.

  • I just stayed in seattle less than 24 hrs when I was there. During my stay I went up 3 observation decks in the City. Smith Tower, Space Needle and columbia tower. Columbia Tower was the best. I liked the view of Mt Rainier

  • very nice; thanks.
