RE: "Obama Youth"

This is a typical step show that happens on college campuses across the country.The young kids from the "Obama Junior Fraternity" are emulating a historically black fraternity that is found on college campuses throughout the nation. Their teacher was probably a member.

Young men in this fraternity DO go on to become teachers, doctors, lawyers, architects and engineers. Not a bad way to achieve these goals..

These kids want to go to college so they can be like the men in this video who are in college and are pursueing their dreams.

Other members of this fraternity include Bill Cosby, Jesse Jackson, Langston Hughes, Count Basie and Michael Jordan.

They typically wear camo pants, purple shirts and gold boots to do their step routines. The camo pants are practical for the athletic movements, are inexpensive and can be found anywhere in army surplus stores.

This is being posted as a response to the "Obama youth" videos that are criticizing Junior Members of this fraternity as "militant" and "brainwashed"...

Too bad cultural misunderstandings are still so rampant in this country. Hopefully, we can all learn to see things from others points of view.

SORRY, I'm just not into all this African stuff that is "hip" nowadays. Just looks like a bunch of jumping around and cartoonish goofiness to me.

This sure isn't on par with Bach or Mozart.

As for the militant aspect, well we do have a Brother in the white house, well , sort of. He did come out of a White Woman after all : )

I think it's cute how excited they all are over a half Black president truthfully. Look at those racial supremacists go, too bad they are only happy when the prez is Black.
