sorry but if alto chooses ranka over sheryl im gonna be pissed. just looking at it from a serious stand point ranka just screams for help alot and is as always, being saved by alto atleast sheryl does something for herself and also she atleast knows the game if you get what i mean.

I don't mind Sheryl. But I'm leaning toward she falling for Michael, hoepfully. I don't know why. It just he seems more the type to be able to handle her. Watch the most recent ep and you'll understand. Altoh, with the way the set up is going, looks like he will end up with Ranka. She is growing up in the most recent eps and I believe Altoh is the one who will make her blossom into someone beautiful. Also..Sheryl and Michael look so good together X3.

Man, honestly I almost quit this anime when I saw Sharyl kiss Altoh, I hated that women sence the momment I laid eyes on her. She's an underhanded coward looking for reasons to hang out with Altoh. I wish one of those Varja would squish her already.

Ranka is so much better, one hell of a lot cuter (Sheryl's ugly), great voice, and I just like her personality. Out of all the animes I've watched she's my #3 Anime Girl, #1 being C.C (CG) #2 Tessa (FM) both played by an oustanding voice actress.

yup. I want ranka to end up with Alto. Sure Sheryl isn't screaming for Alto, but to use her body like that? please...then she is ALWAYS after Alto..I mean she doesn't need him. Ranka gets annoying sometimes, but atleast she isn't trying to make Sheryl jealous..Sheryl does...kissing him, inviting him for his b-day when she knew Ranka was gonna do it. She pisses me off. in the end, I have a feeling alto will end up with Sheryl which really makes me angry...but what can you do?

@fuuka1209 No, Kawamori didn't even do the last episode of the TV Series. He let someone else do the ending. He already said in interviews, that Alto had chosen which girl he loved more in terms of relationships, and if he hadn't passed on controlling episode 25 onto someone else, Alto would have done the same thing in the TV series that he had done in the movie. Don't forget that in SDF Macross, the relationship pairings were still the same from the TV show to the movie.

@JustinStrife the movie is an alternative telling. The TV series and movie are different. Kawamori did the same with SDF Macross. He chooses no one. Shoji Kawamori did it on purpose. He even said so.

@LegallyTan Alto didn't belong to Ranka, so Sheryl couldn't take from RAnka, what wasn't hers to begin with.

@Sandpow Sheryl and Alto always had more chemistry, and they always understood each other better than Alto and Ranka. Thankfully, the movie put an end to this bitter love triangle once and for all.

@mew2latias They were acting out a scene from a Macross Zero Movie and it was episode 10. To Ranka, it was a way of kissing Alto and competing with Sheryl. To Alto, he was just playing an actor. It was the only 'kiss' that they shared. Sheryl and Alto shared several of those, and more(episode 22 anyone?).

@RainOfBN Sheryl's a slu--... Y'know what I mean? Seriously. Ranka's personality, singing, and overall everything is better. I don't hate Sheryl, but I sure do hate girls that are similar to her. Personally, I wish Ranka would find someone better than Alto. He's pretty dense. I mean, girls throw themselves at him and he's like, "Eh?" Ranka <3.
