the vehicles are fired upon and destroyed because insurgents strip the radios and other equipment and use them for attacks and ambushes on our troops.
overall what's the message here.... it's to shame America as the bad guy in all of this. well fuck that, Saddam Hussein started all of this in 1990 and we gave the UN a whole decade to disarm him but all they did was facilitate and participate in corruption with him. Sanctions were ending and it's insane to think we could walk away.

The helicopter was shooting so that no one would loot anything form the destroyed vehicle. I always support the troops, but to think they'd rather kill civilians than risk losing some hardware. That's just plain evil.

i dont get this, it is WAR....people die. I get the reasons for the rules and things for not killing people without weapons, and yes, civilians die....If they dont want to get shot at dont crowd around a peice of military equipment that has just been blown up by the enemy of the US???Common sense people!!!, in WWII, we bombed whole cities, and guess who won that war???
