My name is Jackie Milestone and I was deferred from Yale University after applying to the early action pool in the fall of 2011. My hope is that this song and video will help to show that Yale is more than just my first choice school, it is a school I know well and have dreamed of attending ever since I discovered that colleges existed. I was heartbroken when I found out I was deferred and I hope that this video will encourage the admissions officers to give me another chance.

Lyrics:
You've got to know me by now
As the one who dreams of you
And being in your stonewall embrace.
I hope you've seen my by now,
Relishing the summer time
When we lived together
Things were never better,

And these high school years
Will bring me to tears
When I've only got one thing on my mind
And it's...

Yale
You've made me white and blue for you.
Yale
If you let me in I'll show you just what I can do (for you).

I want to be there this fall
In those brisk autumn winds,
Sitting on the swing in Branford,
The buttery by night,
Like this past July
In the Davenport library,
Studying altogether,
I stop and say it can't get better.

And when I think of my bright college years
I think of you my dear
I think of...

Yale
You've made me white and blue for you.
Yale
If you let me in I'll show you just what I can do (for you).

I've been going to the football games,
Stopping by at Mory's,
Raised on my father's knee
Hearing Saybrook stories.
I've been going to the football games,
Stopping by at Mory's,
Raised on my father's knee
Hearing Saybrook stories.
I've been singing for God for country and for Yale
Don't you bail on me.

Yale
You've made me white and blue for you.
Yale
If you let me in I'll show you just what I can do.

Yale
You've made me white and blue for you.
Yale
If you let me in I'll show you just what I can do (for you).
