it looks so slow because the plane is so huge.

Very impressive for an airpline of that size! But what if special circumstances require pilot to push an airplane above limits considered safe by fly-by-wire computers?

The A380 has over 9000 square feet of wing area. Massive. No wonder it can cruise like that so slow . . .

It IS a SCARE-bus.
But I like it. It's a beautiful machine.
