Listen to how beautifully the instruments work with the vocals. This is an old video & despite the low quality of the format, there's no doubt that some thought and effort went into creating a work of art as fine as this-even for someone such as me who doesnt understand Pashto. This is in contrast to lack of creativity we see in today's modern afghan music scence where most songs sound like some kid got ahold of a bunch of pots and pans in a kitchen and started banging away. Old is so gold.

Well very simple thing I would like to make clear here. Afghans are the people of Afghanistan and Afghani is the currrency of Afghanistan but I saw even a lot of very well educated people use these words without realising the meaning of it. Allah de maal sha ( :

In the west, many people refer to things of origin from Afghanistan as "Afghani". This is Afghani food, Afghani clothes, Afghani music, etc. That is why this is an Afghani song, as it originates in Afghanistan.
