PS2 MLB 08 The Show - World Series Perfect Game! - Giants Defeat Yankees

Want drama in an anticlimactic four game sweep of the Bronx Bombers? How about Matt Cain delivering a perfect gem in the series clincher! Presented here are all nine outs delivered by Cain in the final three innings of the game.

All-Star difficulty, for reference. Also, it's the very first perfect game I've ever pitched in any of Sony's MLB games, be it PS2 or PSP. Glad I was able to record it for posterity!

I never could understand the pitching meter thing how does that work and where are you supposed to push it

@TheSpeedy0504 It's kinda like the three-click meters in golf games... tap X once to start the meter, tap X a second time to set the power, and X a third time at the white/yellow mark for accuracy. You can go farther in the red for more velocity, but you'll sacrifice accuracy. You can alternately hold X for the first click and let go at the power level, then hit X again for accuracy.

how do u film on yur ps2? do u use a camera, or wat?

@S2Sful I used a USB capture device... one end plugs into the RCA video out of the television, the other end plugs into a USB slot in your computer. These SD capture devices can be found online at reasonable prices.

I almost pitched a perfect game on MLB 07 The Show with my RTTS pitcher. I was with the Braves pitching against the Marlins. I pitched 8 perfect innings and the manager took me out and the bullpen gave up like 3 hits and a run. I almost threw my controller at my TV screen.
