I think halfay through Madonna was surprised she could pull it off, this was going to be her first uptempo live performance 5 years, and she never did that song this well again.
Ray of Light (CD version), was (in my opinion), her best vocal performance; she has grown as an artist: emotionally, lyrically and vocally to a great extent :)
whether it's live, or partially live, or whatever, one thing is certain.....it does not have the same sound as the recorded CD version.......I think this was one of her many many great performances, and she certainly takes command of the stage, and proves her relevance even from a 1998 performance. Madonna always had, and always will be etched into the world of music, that cannot be disputed.
