  • We are from Perth, Western Australia. We spent 4 days in Big Bear Lake over Xmas 2010 and loved it. I had never seen snow before and was like a schoolboy, making snowballs and snowmen. If I ever win the Lotto, I will buy a place in Big Bear and retire there. Very friendly locals and just a lovely town.

  • I'm from Ireland and I stayed 2 weeks in Big Bear coaching soccer in June 2011. It might sound a little over the top but for me Big Bear is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to in my life. Great place and great people. Really want to get back there again some day! If you've never been, get yourself there!!

  • @pennyhappy3000 me to

  • I have a great big bear video, check it out!

  • @WalDemento999: you must've just arrived in California in the last 24 hours or something as there are parts of CA that get some of the biggest snowfalls in the Continental United States.

Google "Mount Shasta" or "Trinity Alps" or "Lake Tahoe" or "Bear Valley" or "Tioga Pass".

  • I wanna live there so bad because it's the only place I know where it snows in CA. When it's wintertime I NEED to be around snow.
