In 2001 Michael Jackson took some time to set the record straight. Black entertainers had been relegated to the back for far too long, he was upset and wanted others Blacks to understand their true potential. Regardless of his personal demons and issues, his words here are very powerful. Listen to what he is saying. He wasnt blind to his blackness. He knew the price others had to pay, and the price he still had to pay. He knew about the jealousy, the injustice. But they wouldn't let him be, would they?
