Look up "Valery Legasov" on YouTube... you'll find plenty of videos.

No they did not. Legasov lived for two years after the accident until he killed himself. He was not sufferign from radiation sickness.

It's not the core that's glowing. It's molten graphite. Graphite was used in that type of reactor as a moderator.

Apparently the guy was talking about the amber glow from the reactor core. You can see it in the last few seconds of the video.
