The Children Of Mt. PInatubo

These are a collection of photos I took during my trek to Mt. Pinatubo.

Mt. Pinatubo in Pampanga, Philippines, erupted in the early 90's leaving a catastrophic effect. The Aeta natives, as shown in these pictures, who used to live within the surroundings of the volcano, were forced to come down. Refusing to adapt urban ways of living, they continue to live in poverty at the foot of Mt. Pinatubo.

It's really sad that 'The Kurds", "The oppressed people of Afghanistan" & even those weird people in "Krygzstan" (or however you spell it) gain all the world's attention (UNDESERVED in my opinion) while these noble & dignified people, who are TRULY OPPRESSED, are simply made fun of by totally insensitive people on YT.

The picture of that child's beautiful faces really saddens me. It's amazing that a so-called "Palestinian" can blow himself upon a bus in Tel Aviv & gain the entire world's sympathy & yet when you mention the Aeta, who are in a far worse situation than you silly "Palestinian", people will simply stare at you & say "THE WHO???" ;-(
