Great rendition! :-D

That bridge proves what I've been telling people all the time: If you can't rock out on acoustic, then you can't rock out, period.
And you, ma'am, Rocked Out! :D

God save strawberry jam and all the different varieties

It takes a lot of guts to perform this song live all by yourself -- and you pulled it off, Maura. That was a really beautiful and impressive performance.

Ray Davies may be one of the most under-appreciated writers ever. Thanks Maura, for doing right by the man! I think he would approve of the awesome outfit as well.

Brilliant ! Just saw Ray Davies perform this with the Crouch End Festival Choir in N. London. What a pleasant surprise to find this upon returning. You are a gifted singer/musician and have impeccable taste in material that you cover !

Thanks for all the kind words, all. It's so much fun figuring out such a complex song and playing it...especially when, as today, the whole audience sang along "Shangri-laaaaaa" like a big booming choir...hope someone taped that one!

Thank you! It was like learning to play 5 different songs! And harder to play than most Beatles songs!
