There are even other non jewish communities like druze and bedouin who serve the Israeli army (and even some arabs do!). I live here and I see what is going on, how people in gaza celebrated 9/11 as a victory. There is no justification for terrorism with AKs and RPGs against Israeli civillians. Israel is a democracy and the army obeys the law, where the terrorists don't obey any law. Israel didn't evacuate no palestinian from his home and no one threw them into the streets!!! there are cities like Rammallah where no Israeli can come or he will be slaughtered!
