This is for Ubuntu 10.10, no doubt it will help you for other distros as well, but this will most definitely not work for everyone.

Commands as follows:

sudo umount -f /media/SC2-L100-D1 (first unmount it)

sudo mkdir /media/cdrom0 (make a directory to mount the disc into)

sudo mount /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom0 -o uid=1000,gid=1000,unhide,umask=0000

(/dev/cdrom will be different for everyone, well not everyone, but yeah, yours may be /dev/dev1 or some other variation)

  • @th3d0n123 it's also my New Zealand English being derp. So, "depending on what card you have, it's going to run kind of 'crapily' (aware it is not a word :P)

  • Whenever I type winefile and go into the cdrom0 folder and click the .exe file, i get a pop up saying "No installer data could be found. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support."... any help?

  • @marblethatmops It will be because you haven't unhidden the disc properly.
