On Nostrand Avenue in the heart of Flatbush, Haitian immigrant Ricot Dupuy owns and runs Radio Soleil, literally, Sun Radio, the most popular community radio station among Haitians in New York City. Dupuy kept his nose to the grindstone during this April 4, 2011, visit guided by artist Kesler Pierre, because critical election results were coming in from Haiti, not least the announcement of the country's next president. Radio Soleil has helped its community maintain ties with the homeland for more than 15 years.
