@MrSteelers1994 hes probably a proud ww2 reenactor like me and many other people reliving history and the expierences seen from the second world war. you should respect this guy
-
@Ducttapeupurass not for the 82nd haha, they wernt cool enough to put it around their neck, they just strapped it to the leg and waist portion of the main chute and the b3 vest. theres a hook there for the m1 garand case but also used for m1 carbines.

@super64mandown it wwas also so they didnt kncok their teeth out or injure themselves when the hit the ground. The carbine was commonly also carrided just hanging from their neck when they would jump.

dude dont wear that fucking uniform, you dont have the fucking right to wear it, my 3 uncles were in ww2 in fact one of them was in 101st airborne, he was with the band of brothers in bastone and your fucking disrespecting me, my uncles, and our troops fucking ass whip

@ziggybome yeah, the 82nd boys had that, and the para marines, and the 13th, even the 17th did. based on your patches you are screamin so you were a lil late to the war son.
-
@super64mandown however some were still issued with the solid stock because they couldnt produce enough folding stocks before the first combat jump
-
lol

@JessesWarMovies yeah i have many photos and just look at dated guns. also i just looked at your channel for the first time a couple days ago haha
-
Yeah it was rare, but still possible and correct for reenacting
Airborne had to have the folding stock because it would fit in there gun case when they would jump
