@bischiOo Um, they're a set of plugins and the effects that were offered weren't available in PS or by other vendors.
You don't know what you're talking about, I suggest you look up the genius Kai Krause and Metacreations
corel has seriously dropped the ball here... at lest they could clearly make it known that these are plugins for photoshop and not a stand alone app.

@The1Ledgewalker
Corel is a bad company. They picked up the KPT photoshop effects from metacreations liquidation (as well as other applications)
All the software that they picked up, they ruined with a quick "update/upgrade" to a new version that was really nothing more than a new interface to make a quick buck.
It's very sad that such a great filter set hasn't been taken by a responsible company... COREL IS CRAP.

I paid for the X3 upgrade and have regretted it. Half my PS compatible plugins won't work with it. Only one Topaz plugin works and none of the NIK plugins. I had to go back to X2 to get my plugins to work, and you have to go all the way back to the first version to get the NIK filters to work (Viveza only will work with X2). With every release they are making it less and less PS compatible.

It's an amateur kid shit program, and like they did in the past with thousands of PhotoImpact users, you'll never know when the plug will be pulled until it is. Fool me twice, shame on me. (buyer beware)

I was burned for $70 dollars. Bought the program, used it for 3 months, then they pulled the plug. I've been trying to get other users to go along and sue the crap out of them. Other than a few (oh that sounds good, comments) no commitment as of this time. They would much rather chew it up, and spit it out. Nova had a great program, but for some reason these moron wiz kids screwed it up and now try to replace it with crap like this. "Sure, I'll buy it", but don't hold your breath.

Photo impact was the best photo editing program ever but corel bought it and killed it'
They did the same with other Ulead programs like video studio pro - Thank goodness Xara were wise and got out unscathed

They are trying to copy the old version of the "unmatchable", Ulead Photo Impact. When Corel took over Paint Shop and Ulead, both of these great programs, especially Photo Impact have been destroyed! Now, they are trying to integrate some of "Photo Impact's best artistic abilities, with KPT colors, which was all in the old Photo Impact program, and then, the great "gradient" things you could do, with UPI... into PSPU. They need to scrap it all, and bring back "Photo Impact"!!
