'85 Bears DT Steve McMichael on the love his Super Bowl-winning team still gets from fans across the country. McMichael talks to MOUTHPIECESPORTS personality Brittney Payton about his team being "characters with character" and why they were different from today's "self-promoting" stars. McMichael also breaks down why he thinks the Bears of today can't compete with the best.
Texas toughness combined with Chicago grit made for a great combination, throughout Steve's Bear tenure. Thanks for all the great memories, Mr. McMichael.

Great point by McMichael about defeating the 85 Niners in San Francisco as a major confidence builder. It makes sense since the 84 Niners were so dominant in winning the previous year's Super Bowl (18-1 and a 38-16 win over Miami in the Super Bowl). Being able to control that team on the road probably did launch the 85 Bears' perception of greatness.
