CNN's chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, talks with Dr. Henry Friedman at Duke's Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, about glioblastoma multiforme. Friedman says there is hope for patients who are being treated for brain cancer.

  • My fiance will be seeing this Dr. as soon as he's finished with his radiation and chemo. He was told he has 3 months maybe 6. I believe this man can lengthen his time on earth, if not cure him. My faith in Duke is so strong.

  • Dr. Friedman cured my father's GBM 4. He lived 5 years after initially being given 3 months. He never had a recurrence of his cancer. We have Dr. Friedman to thank.
