I admire the creativity, but I dont love the sound. It kinda sounded like he was playing around with the sax more than it had emotion.

Exactly. There's no denying the creativity. Just the woozy I can't believe I drank the whole bottle feeling expressed in music. But that's my opin-onion and like they say everybody's got one. World Sax Quartet has some different sounds too.

I appreciate it because it's from the soul, and it challenges what many people think IS music. Yes, it is kind of weird, but I think that's the appeal.

It's true, authentic. No-one can argue about Braxton's intentions. If you have your ears tuned in to your heart, you can tell fake from truth in an instant. Whether you can understand where his authenticity is coming from is another question.
