We had several requests to do a comparison video of the 70mm SLY lights LED modules vs. their halogen counterpart.

In the video we show the lighting power and quality of the slylights LED high beam assist light against a typical H3 foglight unit.

The conditions were taken at night, approx. 10pm with a full moon and lots of ambient light. So conditions were not optimal but we did not want to delay making the video any longer.

If anyone has any questions just send a email to info@tmtuning.com

  • I'll take my h11 yellow halogen fog lights

  • @Ge0vone To each his own... Some people still use VHS also ;)

  • I can't wait to have the $ set aside for a set. Will look excellent on my off-road bars on the front of my 2011 Taco.

  • @Eltaco71 sounds good! If you install them on your Tacoma please be sure to put up a response video! or send us some pictures of them installed.

  • Hey Damen, it's Carlitus from Watertuners. Longtime no talk.

    Are these universal?

  • @CruzanRastamon Yes & yes ! ;) they are universal fit, is only up to the installer to fit them where he/she likes.

  • interested on those leds... wondering if u do postage..

  • @TMTuningdotcom what type of car do you have? do you have a VW passat B5.5?

  • @simlouey .. Yes they could be, you would have to be more particular about how they are angled though. The DRL's are not effective at providing light for increasing visibility, they are designed specifically for being effective at making the car more visible. So I would not use the DRL's as a light source.

  • This LED Fog lights could also be used as DRL's? Because im not sure if i would get the 70mm DRL lights or if i should just get these fog lights. How would the 70mm DRL's go at night??
