I love how Duane Peters is totally bashing punk and the punk movement, saying that it was just a young rebellious phase that he went through, but now he's such an older, wiser, more sophisticated 21 year old who's into Rockabilly and "new romantic" music (whatever the fuck that is). I'll bet Peters wishes that this recording didn't exist.

I used to be so envious of all these California skater's back in the late 70's since that's where the action was, you see I lived in Texas. Listening and just watching Steve and especially Duane talk, I must have been really lucky to have lived as far away from them as possible.

Love the PR salvaging exercise... Of course he was still badass- did he think the new wave/rockabilly/douche look was gonna fool people? Sure enough, two years later he was gone.. That doco on him is pretty depressing, but he's still a ruler.
