My trip down the Pacific Coast Highway starting in Vancouver Canada. My two cousins and I set off on the 12th September 2010 heading south along the coast to San Francisco and onto Los Angeles before turning inland to Las Vegas. Leaving Las Vegas we headed north through Death Valley and Yosemite National Park on the return journey to Vancouver. When planning the trip I considered all options from shipping my own bike to renting but in the end decided to get a bike in Canada with the help of my cousin and became the proud owner of a 2001 Honda Shadow Ace.This is the story of our adventure.

  • great video! It must have taken some time. How did you do the little map/bike motion at the beginning?

  • @EverydayRiding Thanks ER... I used adobe after effects for the bike motion but it nearly took me as long as the holiday to do it....lol....I need a lot more practise on that .

  • Great Video, l am looking forward to the next installment. Wish I knew you were swinging by my part of WA, I would have meet up to say hello.

  • @TheHappyThought I missed out on a few meet ups along the way unfortunately which I would have really enjoyed but I must say you live in a very beautiful part of the country.

  • @RedanWhiteRebel hmm don't have that one. video takes way too long to edit sometimes. I'm still working on stuff from last summer.

  • @RedanWhiteRebel

Since you a link to Google maps route.

  • @KeukaRyder Its a good time to go before the major rush and before the heat really kicks in. Are you going to head to the west coast ? .

  • @RedanWhiteRebel Thanks my friend! The trip plan is starting to take shape now. Perhaps a mid-May 2011 blastoff :->

  • @KeukaRyder I know KR......it is difficult to put it all together and sometimes the best laid plans do come a cropper but it is great fun planning the trip too. I hope it works out for you and I look forward to seeing those vlogs.Motorcycle touring is addictive.

  • @larrythelookout Thanks Larry...I have had the bike to France before so was not completely new to driving on the... wrong side... of the road but you definitely need to concentrate.
